SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

Geography should not determine opportunity. African landlocked countries face structural disadvantages that can create economic and social inequalities compared to coastal nations.

The Challenge

Structural inequalities remain deeply embedded in the development challenges of African landlocked countries. These are further compounded by gender gaps, youth exclusion, and limited access to emerging sectors.

Our Interventions

ALCRC's key interventions include the Women in Maritime and Logistics initiative and the Catch Them Young Programme, both aimed at expanding inclusive access to sectors traditionally reserved for coastal populations.
