Economic growth in African landlocked countries is closely tied to creating employment opportunities and fostering entrepreneurship.
The Challenge
Limited market access, high trade costs, and narrow economic bases continue to constrain job creation and inclusive growth. These structural challenges restrict opportunities for decent work, particularly for young people and women.
Our Initiatives
ALCRC is undertaking initiatives through the Women in Maritime and Logistics initiative, the Annual Blue Economy Conference, and the Catch Them Young programme to expand access to decent work opportunities.
