SDG 2: Zero Hunger

The combination of higher trade costs, market access challenges, and heavy reliance on agriculture makes food insecurity a pressing concern for African landlocked countries.

The Challenge

Food security lies at the heart of economic and social stability in African landlocked countries. Agriculture employs a significant share of the population, yet structural constraints limit productivity, market access, and value addition.

Our Commitment

Our commitment to SDG 2 stems from the understanding that hunger is both a symptom and a driver of underdevelopment. ALCRC advocates for investments in rural infrastructure, storage facilities, agro-processing, and regional trade corridors.
